Refund Policy

Sextant sells digital products — license keys for downloadable software components. We want you to be happy with your purchase, and this policy explains when and how you can get a refund.

14-day money-back guarantee

If Sextant isn’t right for you, request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. No questions asked, no reason required, no deductions — you get back everything you paid, including any tax charged.

How to request a refund

Email hello@sextant.sh with the email address used for the purchase and your order or receipt number. Because our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle, processes payments, refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. You may also contact Paddle directly using the link on your emailed receipt.

Processing time

Refunds are typically processed within a few business days. The time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

Indie is a single charge that does not renew. The Product and Business tiers are subscriptions that renew automatically at the price shown on the pricing page every 12 months until you cancel — $490 per product per year for Product, $1,490 per year for Business.

You can cancel at any time using the link on your receipt, or by emailing hello@sextant.sh. Cancelling stops all future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, and the widgets already installed in your repository remain yours under the Sextant License. The 14-day money-back guarantee above applies to renewal charges as well as first purchases.

Your statutory rights

Consumers in the EU, UK, and other regions have statutory rights regarding digital content. Nothing in this policy limits, waives, or replaces those rights. Our 14-day money-back guarantee is offered in addition to them.
